Rhinoplasty Double Tip Graft Photos

A tip graft is used in rhinoplasty surgery if the tip needs better projection and contour. This graft helps give the nose an aesthetic double break and a supratip break contour. See the diagrams on the next page. This graft is usually obtained from the cartilage of the septum inside the nose. Additional grafts may be used in order to add more projection especially in cases of poor projection and tip support. This may be seen for various reasons such as hereditary and in aging.
